I still can't get rid of this car. Nobody seems to know what they're doing because the process of donating a car is too irritatingly complicated.

Oy.  I went through that fifteen years ago.  My problem was that my previous car was older than any of the charitable organizations were willing to take, even though none of their advertisements would have you believe there are any such restrictions.  And then I couldn't find (guess what?) -- the title, and I had to pay to get another from the DMV.  Finally, the kidney foundation was willing to take it and boy was that a relief.  I think I still had to pay 50 bucks or something for the towing, not sure, but that may have been routine for all of them.  Don't remember now, and don't want to.  It was a drawn out nightmare.

ASK BK

Other than the three strip technicolor process is there really any difference is the other color processes like Deluxe, Ansco, Metrocolor, Eastman Color etc? If you didn't see a credit for the color process could you tell which is which?

I have also seen filmed in Deluxe Color and prints by technicolor. Why two processes?

I also know there was a film process or was it a film stock that caused colors to fade over a period of time have a "magenta effect". Why would this happen?

All those "colors" are just hours names for films shot on Eastman stock.  However, different labs made some better than others.  Up until they came up with LPP in the 80s, all Eastman stock faded, sometimes very quickly, and to varying degrees, but always ending in almost a complete loss of color.  Color by Deluxe, prints by Technicolor simply means the film was shot on Eastman (Deluxe was the Fox lab), but the prints came from Technicolor and through 1974 that meant the imbibition dye transfer printing - and those prints held their color perfectly.

Ask BK #2

Are you familiar with the play "Trap For A Lonely (Single) Man" by Robert Thomas. It was originally written in French and it was adapted as "Honeymoon With a Stranger" (with a sex change of the main character), two tv movies, "One of My Wives Is Missing" and "Vanishing Act" and several foreign language versions

I bring it up because in the "One of My Wives Is Missing" The local theater group is putting on "Dial M For Murder".

It's a one set 6 character play with a "twist"

Not familiar with it and have actually managed to miss all versions.

The Drum part has been located so that's one crisis averted.  I am back to the Violin part.

It's not the charity, a local church. It's the DMW and the notary and the rest of the civil workers lot.

There was a King of the Hill episode where Hank's colonoscopy was seen by his family on TV screens. Will yours be televised, TCB?

Wednesday afternoon greetings!  Becky and I had a lovely breakfast at the Northstar Cafe and a nice long visit.  I then wandered around Michael's for a while and am now home for the rest of the day.

Vibes for DR TCB that the worst is over, the procedure is uneventful, and the results are good!
