My daily numbers have been pretty good, but I haven't had an A1C test at the doctor's, yet.  It's been pretty carb heavy over the last several weeks, what with the show and certainly yesterday's barbecue. ::) We'll see what it's like when I finally am able to go in.

I've got a vat of bologna sauce simmering away, the apartment smells like garlic and onion, and I'm rather pleased with how it turned out.

Some ass who is new in this building keeps dumping rotten food in the laundry room with the recyclable items.  This is ridiculous.  Today the room smells like rotting fish.

Jane, for some reason, your quote of my quote was wonky.  When I quoted it for this post, I was able to fix it so that everyone will now know what the heck you meant! ;)

;D  Thank you for fixing it.  I bet I clicked on "images" instead of "quote".

Be good from now on.

I know it isn't easy.  I am supposed to go on a now salt diet and it is difficult to know how much salt I am eating unless I cook everything myself.  The hearing doctor said I have Meniere's Disease and reducing salt can help my hearing.  The only way to know if he is correct is to try the diet.

Ahh...that makes sense.  The buttons are right next to each other.  I was wondering how that could've happened.

Are there multiple new people to the building?  I thought it was just one and the super would know who it is.

There are many new people in the building.  This is nothing new today.  I just brought it up today because I posted this in the elevator:
TENANTS,
THE LAUNDRY ROOM STINKS LIKE ROTTING FISH.
THIS MEANS SOMEONE DOESN’T KNOW WHERE TO PUT
GARBAGE.  PLEASE LEARN.

IF YOU NEE$D HELP,   ASK VAL.

THIS IS RIDICULOUS.

Decided to have a Philly cheesesteak sandwich today - so that's my food for the day, with no snacks later.  With the jog, should be fine.

What is the New York rule on recyclables? In San Antonio, it's okay to put dirty items in recycling. So, anyone at work who eats yogurt can put their container in the bin without rinsing. And I occasionally feel as if I'm going to vomit because of the stench of that nasty crap. But it's supposedly okay.

I have no idea.  I rinse out every container before i put it into the trash.

The therapist did her best/worst on my leg today and the pain was a lot less than it has been. She hoisted that haunch off the table and pressed that foot into my back side. The first time I didn't even grab the table.

I do, too. It's more hygienic and more polite.

We have "single stream" (I think it's called?) recycling, in which all paper, plastic, and metal items go into one huge bin.  You're supposed to have rinsed the bottles, etc., before throwing them in there, which we do.  And even though I know we're not perfect at that, there's never been an odor.  But any kind of actual food container that "could" be recycled but would be ridiculous to clean up, forget it, out it goes with the trash.  I am not a complete saint, after all.  :)

I got plenty of sleep, nearly 10 hours, no more NYMF anxiety attacks, there's work on the desk to begin, so all is good at the moment.

Great!

It is the same in California and likely other places where there is a drought.
