DR Danise, good luck with the tax collector!  There's a lot to be said for staying in the public employees' retirement system...

It does sound like a big bonus.  Could you take in a roommate instead of having a second job?

Of course, major vibes you receive a job offer!
. Well, I guess I could let that guy know I changed my mind and I want to be his mistress.  ;) LOL

Is selling life insurance strictly a commission job?  Either way it could fill that part time 2nd job position.

Very exciting DR GINNY!

Certainly not something we see every day, DR JRand.  One of the vehicles was from WHIO, Channel 7, so I'll watch their newscast at 5pm to see what more I can find out.
. If your news is anything like our news it will be all you wanted to know and will never find out about.  I swear, I see helicopters circling or a bunch of Sheriffs at a place, wonder what the heck is going on, watch the news to be kept up to date on the latest news in my neighborhood and there is nothing.

. Yes.  But it is months away before I would earn anything.

How fitting that Barbara Cook's last meal was vanilla ice cream.

It's certainly a lovely thought.

Barbara Cook performs a "Salute to Vienna" on the Bell Telephone Hour, 1962:  Barbara Cook sings and dances to Viennese operettas with Alfred Drake.

I spent the afternoon inventorying and packing three cartons for the Miami University Library.  As soon as that Guys & Dolls check arrives, they're goin' west.

Not a particular fan of country music.

A lot of his music wasn't strictly country.

Natasha, Pierre ... is closing. How strange. The show was still making close to $1 million a week.

The only time I saw Barbara Cook perform was at a tribute to lyricist David Zippel.  It was at the Allen Room at Lincoln Center.  Brent B and Jason Graae also performed. I don't remember what she sang but I'm sure she was great!
