Sorry. I had foot cramps least night and that was bad enough. At least I can still jump out of bed fairly quickly and walk them off.

I don't know why I've chosen what I am listening to but it's all certainly cheering me up.

I wrote two charts for Celia's album, and I hadn't listened to it in about six months. Neither chart embarrasses me, and I love her recording of "A Tree In the Park."

The Mancini orchestrations for Pavarotti are really cherce, and the title song "Mama" just soars and bubbles like a good pasta sauce.

Well, I must be off. Today is the annual picnic for the Olympia chapter of PFLAG. My sister and her boyfriend are on the board, and my niece used to be on the board. I was asked to help set up and to get some cookies at Costco, so I'm off to Costco.

I think it's time to confront the horrifying situation in Charlottesville, VA. I think these alt-right idiots carrying their mother's patio lamps like rejects from Survivor, toting violence and at least one murder this weekend, should be identified and forced into the military, where - if they do not die - they might actually learn that the world is much bigger than their tiny and ugly perspective.

I lay the blame for this mess on all Trump voters.

Took the folks for a drive this afternoon. We went across the river on a new bridge that spans the Ohio. It was beautiful and the water was refreshing.
