It is hot, humid, and smokey here.  The smoke was affecting my breathing this morning.  Funny though, my walking partner who cancelled last week because she was coughing was ok with it today.

After a nap, I return to One-Eyed Jacks. (Funny, but there's a bit in Great Expectations, last night's movie, about Pip feeling embarrassed because he called the card Jacks instead of Knaves.)

I desperately need a nap.

When Randy tells me he's ready to go, I'm taking him to breakfast.  Jo is up to her butt weeding and clearing out her flower gardens in the back yard.  She hopes she'll get a call about the new job tomorrow.

Monday morning greetings!  It's a quiet holiday for us, but I have a lot of desk work to do.  The upstairs Palmers are celebrating their 6th wedding anniversary today.

A Very Happy Anniversary to the Upstairs Palmers!! :D

Can anyone tell me why it feels so much more humid than it is?  Does the heat cause that?  Maybe we have become more sensitive since leaving the East Coast ;D

I'm up, I'm up - I'm sure I got eight hours of sleep - unusual for the day after a Kritzerland show.  Now I'm relaxing until it's time to be on my way to the film music thing.
