DR Ginny, I can't believe that Rob and Mary Linda have been married six years!

Happy Anniversary to them!

It's muggy today, but MUCH cooler, thankfully! 97 degrees in my 'hood is really pushing it.

We are sitting in the park looking at the beautiful orange sun.  Keith is trying to find out where the ash floating around us is coming from ::(

There are too many fires.  We are guessing it is one of our closer fires, 40 miles and 60 miles away from us.

One of the fires began Saturday afternoon not long after we were in the area, near Bridge of the Gods.

The jalapeño pie came out great. Three ingredients--cheese, jalapeños and eggs. Great stuff.

The sun was brilliant as we walked home, even more striking as dark clouds crossed in front of it.  What the camera captured isn't worth keeping ;D

All of a sudden I'm exhausted. I may have to hold off on the end of this movie until tomorrow.

I saw it, too.  I was thinking that I wish I had my eclipse glasses with me just to see it directly.  They're at work.

I once saw a bumper sticker:  "NEVER refuse a breath mint."

And I never have...even when I don't think I need it.

Topic of the day (in no particular order):  hazelnuts, almonds, walnuts (especially in chocolate chip cookies ;D ), pecans, peanuts, sunflower seeds, but mostly cashews!
