It was a night of many dreams. I only remember now the first and last ones. The first began at a party of young executives and ended with a ghost, flickering lights, doors closing on their own accord in my grandmother's house when I was four years old or younger.

In my last dream I was around sixteen, in pajamas, in the house where I grew up. We were waiting on family for a reunion. One of my brother Randy's German shepherds from 2017 was with me and went bananas when there was a knock at the door. Someone we did not know walked in with two small boys. I asked who that man was and someone said it was Ed Weiser to see your dad. It was an agent from Buddweiser about some legal action.

I never used to get any spam in gmail. But once it starts getting through then you get a lot of it. I don't get tons. But there can easily be 10-20 messages when I wake up in the morning. I wish gmail had a way to block the people that send the same so they can never message you again.

I am obsessed with them. I didn't realize that they would be leaving this week. We have super warm temps scheduled for another 4 days (like 90s). So I am going to make sure to go to the lake to see them as many times as I can.

Jennifer, I loved the painted ladies. I hope I see some butterflies in the backyard this fall.

I was shocked this morning to find that my Mexican love vine, which I thought had died in last winter's really deep freezes, is growing again. When it flowers, it attracts butterflies, moths, bees and hummingbirds alike.

Tomorrow's fine. I want to check out this event but I don't expect to be out later than 2:00. It's supposed to get up to 90F and I would just as soon be home in the AC as the housecleaning continues.

I'm going out to do some errands and plan to be home for the big college football double header that interests the Palmer women. Both Big 10 teams from Michigan play in Indiana this afternoon/evening. Michigan's at Purdue at 4pm and Michigan State's at Notre Dame at 8, both on Fox Sports (not my favorite). Go, Blue; Go, Green!

It took over two days for MACC to respond to my inquiry about a couple of cats on their site. One was adopted and little Sycamore is out today on adoption patrol in the Bronx, 10 miles away. He's so adorable, I'm sure he'll be adopted today. If I'd known this yesterday, I would have traipsed over and made a desperate bid to adopt him.

So, I had a successful outing, learned that the animal rescue folk always arrive with their perts for adoption around 2:30PM. It;s too warm, so I will pass going back today or checking other places tomorrow. I'm still not really ready to bring a cat or cats into the apartment yet. Give me another week.
