Twenty-four hours into our Indiegogo campaign and we're at 35%, which is really strong.  Someone grabbed one of the associate producer perks.

Today I not only have things of my own to get done, I'll also be helping to clean the house for the housecleaners.

And that is no joke, as DR Run Pulliam is soon to find out.   

If someone were to threaten to send house cleaners to us I'd have to burn the house down in self defense

Re the Last Starfighter mentions in the notes:  I wonder if Lance Guest (who played the title role in the Last Starfighter movie) would ever play Centauri (the film's Robert Preston part) if an appropriate-level production of the musical happened.

He would if he has any sense.

Have done some clean-up of boxes and bubble wrap and plastic peanuts today.   Cleared part of my room of detritus.  Looks better.

Still have more to do.

Am not well-organized yet.  Too much stuff shipped from Oakland...stuff I don't have any place to put and no interest in now that it's here.

Anyway, a Mr. Jones will be coming to the show on Friday the 13th ("I don't believe in omens") and will do a talkback or anything else we'd like.  He'll be accompanied by his friend Dan Shaheen, co-producer of the 1996 revival.

Lunch was a happy thing. Excellent Italian. Baked ziti with ham, peas and mushrooms in a tomato cream sauce followed by chicken thighs in Gorgonzola cream. And a nice bottle of wine. I am on vacation.

My next task is to weed out my DVDs.  I want to get rid of one of the filing cabinets.  My goal is to be finished by Friday.  I'm going cat hunting.

Holy moley on rye - I guess folks like the new perks - we just went up to 49%!  In a day and a half.  Hoping we hit 50% by this evening, but I'm hoping even more that we reach our funding goal sooner than later so we can go into stretch goal mode.

We met a friend in Portland for lunch today.
First the friend ordered with changes to her meal to adjust for her diet issues.
Then I ordered with changes for my meal, along with Keith having to explain what I misheard to get my order correct.
We now have had two complicated orders.
Keith then requested a salad without lettuce. 
The waitress loved it and gave him a high-five.  I was laughing while our friend looked a bit confused about what happened

57%!  That's amazing for a day and a half, and we're not quite AT a day and a half yet - maybe 60% by morning?  I would so love to reach the goal really early and then cover fees and then go beyond the goal - because if we were to raise an extra ten grand we could probably record a cast album.
