Talked to a couple of girls from my high School Graduating class today....one on Facebook and one on the telephone.  Our 50th class reunion is coming up this spring.

My brother Mike saw one of them at the Kroger store a couple of weeks ago, she thought she was talking to me....and he didn't know who she was until he told her....  She still thinks she was talking to me, so I didn't call her on it.....

Is that the scientists who proved Einstein's wrinkle theory or something like that?

;D  Yes, something like that.  He is one of the two men from Cal Tech.

That is funny.  Do you and Mike look enough alike that she will she recognize you at the reunion?

I don't even remember what Nev looks like...if she has short or long hair, or color, or anything. :-\

I guess I'll find out soon enough.

;D  I guess that means you don't have a photo.

Yup...not yet.

DR JANE when we're standing together....you can tell us apart....when we're by ourselves, I guess it's easy to mix us up.

I'm on the right....of course now, I am much thinner than he is....or slightly as the case may be.  Our sister is in the middle.

My brother flunked the second grade so we were in the same class from the third grade on, and my mother dressed us alike for the next three years, so people just thought of us as twins....Mike and Jack....

Will you take the train to meet him?

Cute, but not identical.

Keith's father was an identical twin.  As adults it was easy to tell them apart, especially after Keith's father went from very overweight to rather thin while the twin just kept gaining weight.

In our class there were two sets of "twins" Conni and Donni Bastin, who were girls....and us Mike and Jack....  In the class below us there were three sets of twins Steve and Stan Ward and Larry and Jerry Goldsberry and Lynn and Gwynn Swinney - the two sets of boy twins were indentical....and then in the class after that were identical twins Barbara and Brenda Swinney....  And all of us were cousins or cousins of cousins except the Goldsberry boys....but one of them ended up married to my cousin Pam!

Bruce did you see what a mutual facebook friend posted today?

Feeling relieved and oh so very grateful! 💗
My son and his fiancee were at the Route 91 Harvest concert in Las Vegas. Because they had already seen Jason Aldean at a previous concert, they decided to leave a few minutes early to get some food. As they were leaving, the gunshots began. Where they had stood earlier, one of their friends was killed. Another friend was wounded.

That's terrible. :'(

On an exciting note, my childhood friend's cousin just won the Noble Peace prize in physics.  He does have to share it with two other people.

Congrats to your childhood friend's cousin!

My sister and I were two years apart in school and when we were little, we looked like we were the same age because my sister was so little.

Had a wonderful visit with Richard Sherman, came back to the Valley, picked up no mail or packages, and have been uploading our new Levi! logos to Indiegogo - still looks great but we fixed their two problems without totally killing it.  I have to say they really were good to deal with and never confrontational.

...and here we are in the far western 'burbs of Detroit.  Our drive was smooth and Rob is a couple of hours behind us.  We'll go to dinner when he gets here.

Which "burbs"?

DR Jane, we are right on the border of Livonia and Northville.  My parents bought a condo in Northville in 1969 and Mom lived there until she moved to Phoenix in 1986.  Richard, Rob, and I just spent a delightful evening in Northville, driving around the condo complex and walking around downtown.  We peeked in the windows of what was Mom's bookstore and is now a children's clothing boutique.  Had a nice dinner at Poole's Tavern, which I think was a dive bar when we lived here.  The whole community is more upscale than it was 45 years ago.
