Yesterday's T.O.D.

I was not much of a Beatles fan.  I didn't dislike them, I just wasn't a big fan.  I never purchased any of their albums or 45's.  (A 45 is a..... oh, never mind).  Of all of their albums, I enjoyed SGT. PEPPER the best.

Today, we're going to tackle my extra bedroom (which won't be difficult, at all), and probably my TV room, which definitely is the worst.

I am seeking an Al Jolson impersonator who is also an accomplished ACTOR.

Why?

Because I would like to do an audio version, via ACX, of my one-person stage play, JOLSON.  The right person should have his own recording set-up and be capable of editing the music and sound effects (supplied by me) into the finished production.  This would be a 50/50 royalty share deal, and our relationship would be as actor-director.  We would approach this project as if we were doing a stage play.

Since I'm currently in production with 4 of my non-musical plays, I won't really get to this project until early next year, but:

Enjoying a VERY slow morning here. 

I’ve got the day to myself, and I intend to ketchup on a few things such as checking out a few movies and such that have been waiting for my attention.

At some point food and libation will be involved.

A few months ago I splurged on the anniversary set of SGT. PEPPER ... which I have yet to even break open.  This isn’t the one with the vinyl — I already own a couple of excellent pressings — but if I recall correctly, the CD and SACD transfers are new and are supposed to be top-notch.
