Annabelle is being very frisky this morning. She got all tangled up in the blinds, knocking everything off the window sill. Then she climbed all over me and the computer. This is why I think she needs a playmate.

In my experience a playmate won't change this. There will just be two of them enjoying these activities, together or one at a time. Yes at times they will be distracted from you while they entertain each other. I have been pinned into the bed by multiple cats sleeping on me and woken up by multiple cats scampering over me.

Yes, having a playmate could be just what Annabelle needs but it might not solve your problem
