I am watching THE LITTLE FOXES which is quite a film.....I have never seen the play, but I would imagine it's as good if not better - depending of course on cast and director.

I have just returned from the apple festival in Peddlers Village, Bucks County, PA

I used to go there on a regular basis when we lived near there.

It was great seeing Noises Off again.  I hadn't seen one in years.  Great cast, a production that moved right along beautifully, a wonderful opening night audience, and schmoozing till all hours.

I played Tim Algood in a local production about 20 or so years ago.

TOD

Love fried foods, unhealthy though they may be.  But I don't overdo it.

I can't say I've had any truly exotic or bizarre fried foods, which is probably all for the best.  But two that I only "discovered" for myself within the past decade or so are fried green tomatoes and deep fried pickles.  Oh my god, I love these.

There was a restaurant here in Olympia that had deep fried pickle spears.  They were delish!  Then the place closed more than 25 years (or so) ago.  They were the only place in town that had them, and I haven't had any since.

George may I impose upon you (for the 800th time). If you are planning to make any CDs of Falsettos and/or Present Laughter could I be added to your list?

Of course!

Well, today I helped my sister move some things in her garage to make room so that her old refrigerator can be moved out there because she got a new refrigerator.  Then, I went to a burger place on the west side of Olympia called Herfy's.  I'd only been there once before when they first opened years ago, but when a co-worker mentioned that he went there last week, I thought that I should try it again.  I did, and it wasn't too bad.  It was just a simple storefront with maybe six tables and a lot of choices.  I got the bacon cheese burger.  It was pretty tasty, except that the bacon was sliced really thinly...not really worth it.  Otherwise, I enjoyed it.  I'd might go back if I'm in the area and have time, and get something different.

Shelly Morrison (BK's close and personal friend) used to play Rosario on the show, but instead of continuing to play the character on these new episodes, I'd read that Shelly Morrison decided to retire from acting.  In this episode, the character has died and Karen (played by Megan Mullally) doesn't want to say goodbye.

We are a bit stressed out about this one though it was the first big trip I ever dreamed of taking.  Hopefully it is worth the effort and meets our expectations.

Looks great. But I don’t get any until tomorrow.

Did you go with halves?

I did. Easier.

And of course the musical/opera Regina is as fine as BK has recently referenced.

And now, I must be off.  My friend Margo and I are going to see to 10:10 pm IMAX 3D showing of Thor: Ragnarok!  I guess it's doing really well and getting good reviews (93% on Rotten Tomatoes).

Be back later!

Great line from the latest Durrells episode. The mother, so properly British, is getting fed up with her children, who are enjoying a swim in the Mediterranean. They tease her once too often and she just mutters in their direction:

Please, drown.
