To my delight, a request for two pops orchestrations came from London this morning.  This will keep me busy for the next week.  I also received a scan of the new digitized score for the overture to How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying.

Wednesday morning greetings!  After 2 days of commitments, I'm enjoying a stay-at-home day today.  Richard and I just cleaned up the kitchen mess I'd made Monday and yesterday and now I'm ready to make the second batch of caramel corn for the bazaar.

As the rehearsal process continues will you make any changes to the libretto or the score (dropping or adding songs) if you see something isn't working?

I've made a few changes as we've gone but I'll lock this production on Friday.

My question for ASK BK DAY:

Do you think your current home will be rented out again, or do you think the owners will sell for a tear down to put up a new house that looks like a dentist's office?  (We didn't get a photo of the replacement for the Annette house yet....)

Do you have any see-lebrity neighbors in your new neck of the woods?  {I forget where you said you were moving....)

I don't think they can rent it as it is - there is much to be addressed or the renter will be very unhappy.  If they address the issues and tidy it up and spend the bucks I'm sure they'll try to up the rent even more than I was paying.  I've always been told that Marsden has no intention of selling, but who knows.  It's a very nice house, shows well, but it's two bedrooms - unless it's a family with one kid, then it's difficult.  I was their ideal tenant and if they'd actually attended to the problems over the years, rather than just letting things go and causing me to have to deal with them, I probably would have stayed here.

The assistant to the doctor yesterday suggested I try Aleve, not Advil, before going to bed.  I did, and I slept really well for the first time in a long time.

The benefactor of the beautiful cat bed has been discovered and thanked.  I am very touched by the generosity.  I anticipate Annabelle and Thatch fighting for it.

Hopefully they will curl up together and share it.
