I am up to the last section of the "Annie" medley for London, which is a relief.  The two carriers and their occupants sit next to each other in the space with me, and all is quiet.  I think that's good progress on all points.

This Apple upgrade to OS 10.50.13, whatever the hell it is, is taking forever.

I forgot to mention earlier but the cat chronicles are now running my life.  I am really enjoying the LEVI news.  This morning, I was thinking how much fun and what seemed endless work to get THE BRAIN FROM PLANET X open 11 years (really??) ago.

Oh of course.  But I've got a few more to upload in a bit so you might want to wait and see them all first.

I really look forward to eventually finding the opportunity to do BRAIN, whether it be a production up here that I could even MD, or one to play in somewhere.

Some cats can't get enough holding; others are skittish about it for pretty much all time, and there's no telling what might have happened to make them that way.

Our lovely little Kali, who died almost two years ago, was like that.  She loved us, and just about everyone else she met, but when it came to being picked up and held, you did well if you had her for 30 seconds or longer.  Picking her up to carry her someplace was fine.  But there was very little "just holding her".  It wasn't a fear issue -- put her down, and she'd stay right there to be petted till the cows came home.  But she never liked being confined in people's hands for long.

DR Elmore's descriptions of Thatch reminded me exactly of that

And of me with our Bosco.  Bacall could be like that too.  She would howl at me to get down on the floor and cover me with head rubs and snuggles.  If I picked her up she wanted down.

Sunday afternoon greetings!  I did some pre-birthday puttering while Richard was at church this morning.  Now we’re watching the Bengals and at halftime I’ll go to the grocery for the ingredients for the birthday dessert he requested.  The big day is tomorrow.

Two of the helpers are packing up the house - and inadvertently packed the Indiegogo stuff, which I'd separated out - there are five boxes of stuff from that room and I'm sure that will be in one of them.

Okay, here's Jack Viertel and "Red" Press (and ?).  I'd love to get a good picture of Red, but it never quite works out.

I think that's about it.

DR Elmore, if you want any of these, tell me which ones and I'll email you the original size.  These are severely cut down in resolution.

Many thanks!  I am taking advantage of the cats in cages to do some food preparation and maybe get a nap.

I had a long phone conversation about How to Succeed, so I'm not s far along with my medley as I anticipated. I'm about to begin the very last section, which is 29 measures long.

I mean this not as a political comment, but a comment on the media in short-attention-span 2017:

I feel so troubled that both the horrible mass murder in the church not too far from San Antonio, Texas on Nov. 5, as well as the deadly attack in New York City on Oct. 31, have pretty much disappeared so quickly from the TV news cycle.

The shooting is still a big topic of conversation here, obviously. It was the first Sunday at church since then, so people were concerned and prayers were said.

But the news is more about Roy Moore, Kevin Spacey, Louie C.K. and the other celebrities accused of sexual misconduct.
