You'd think Annabelle's basement adventure would have curbed her curiosity, but no way.  I took the dirty litter to the garbage chute and as soon as I opened the door to return to the apartment, she darted out and ran for the stairs.  Instead of going up this time, she went down, so I ran for the elevator and rode to two.  No sign of her.  I rode to the first floor.  No sign, but I could hear her loudly crying down the stairwell.  I got back on the elevator and rode to the third floor.  There she was, waiting for the elevator.

I haven't had breakfast yet between these two critters and their meds, and I'm thinking of skipping the food and going right for the booze.

You do whatcha gotta do!

One of the Brooklyn cat rescuers is offering Christmas kittens.  I've promised several friends I will adopt no more, but I find it difficult to not want another!

But they're soooo cute! :D

I’m in my house. I have to get a new lock. Locksmith cost close to $100 for about two minutes’ work.

:o Yikes!

And net neutrality is dead.  One more nail in the coffin of the Republican party.  All I can hope for is that their lousy tax plan goes down in flames just as the supporters of the bill will go down in the next election.

I hope all the Trump voters are happy.

They probably are.  It's a "win."  That's ALL they seem to care about. :P

What happened??

The awful Omarosa who said we would all have to bow down to Donald Trump was put down by Robin Roberts on TV this morning.  The Trump whores are infuriated but I say, thank you, Robin!

Just returned from a birthday lunch with BK. We both ate fish and chips and some "homemade" (at the restaurant)  biscuits. I introduced him to one of the owners and she was very talkative. We told her about LEVI!. I think she'd enjoy the show; she's an immigrant herself.

The day started off with a bang here as well.

First, we get a highly irritating inch of snow during the night, which was just plowed as well as it can be but we're hoping the bright sun will help to burn off the rest.

I also found out our ailing bassist, for whom we already wrangled a couple of subs for this weekend, is ailing a little more and a little differently than originally thought.  What was diagnosed as bronchitis last week turns out to be congestive heart failure!  He's in the hospital and they've got it under control, but he's out for the remainder of the run.  So we're still hustling for bass players.

Next...

Wait, there isn't a NEXT yet.  And I hope there won't be.  That much is already irritating enough.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  Vibes for a successful Bass search!  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
DR Elmore must have the magic touch when it comes to vibes today.  Not only was the search successful, I got my number one guy -- the very player I always ask first, except this time I came in after that had already been done.  He wouldn't have been able to play every show up till now, but he can do every one of the remaining ones starting with Sunday's.  Thank you, sir!  :)
Could we all have some winning lottery numbers next, please??   :D
I think I’ve got BK’s irritants. My front door key broke off in the lock as I was leaving for work. I can’t get in the back. The locksmith I called hasn’t called me back.
Locksmith vibes to John G!
LOL!  I'm sure no one's forgotten Omarosa's prediction that we would all bow down to Trump.  Or forgiven her for it.
Bye, Felicia.
Well, DR ChasSmith, I'm glad my vines worked for you.  I wish they'd clear up Thatch's conjunctivitis.  O just took him into the bathroom to wash out his eyes.  He lay in my arms, purred, seemed very content to let me do the wash, enjoyed the petting, my playing with his paws, stroking his head and rubbing his belly.  His rail wrapped around my arm, which is a sign of affection.
Then I gave him a syringe full of bitter medicine and put salve in his eyes.  He's run away in terror and Annabelle is his safe place.  I hope, when thus health crisis passes, that he will not fear me.  The little baby wants affection and love.
