I've been enjoying wearing sweaters and scarves and boots.

Here’s some cheery news. Astrologers predict this will be the worst day of the year.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/nation-now/2017/12/20/winter-solstice-worst-day-2017-astrologers/970249001/

My day's gone well. Can a good night's sleep overcome all obstacles?

I just held little Thatch.  He was dozing in his cat tree and I picked him up.  He snuggled in, appeared to enjoy being cuddled, liked the petting, but then he gets alarmed and anxious by this comfort.  I set him back in his tree and he ran off to look for Annabelle, his safety zone.  Now he's back rubbing against my legs and wanting petting.  How could I lose this little bundle of contradictions?

A package from Kritzerland arrived today. I think I’ll save it for Sunday.

I also received a package from Kritzerland today!  I did NOT wait for anything!  I opened it right away!  Thanks, BK! :D

Fifty (50) ping-pong balls vs. one (1) Jell-o salad = an imbalance of Biblical proportions.

Strange day.  The wiring guy came but we all decided that it was going to be too much of a pain and pretty much impossible to wire under the house to the wall in back of the couch, mostly having to do with how the house was reconfigured.  So, we're searching for wireless back speakers.

Leslie Young's Alexa was today's unboxing helper and she was very helpful - we got about six boxes completely unboxed and on shelves, but more importantly she got all the paintings and posters in one place where they're safe and she made two big aisles so that I can now get to any place in the garage.  Next time she's here, next week, I'm going to leave her on her own and let her then rejigger what's on the shelves currently to take up the least amount of space, then we'll get stuff out of boxes onto those shelves and that will remove about twenty more boxes.

Vegging in front of the TV, my last night to do so before Christmas Eve - which, because of everyone else’s familial obligations, I will actually, and delightfully, have to myself.

I'm all packed and ready for my early flight to Buffalo in the morning.  Hoping there won't be too much snow while I'm there.

Good news from DR JEANNE.

After the doctor's visit - I visited my other three doctors in the building & next door to let them know I need to change my preferred pharmacy.  My WELLCARE prescription plan will no longer have Walgreen's in its network, so I have to go to CVS......

So then I went to CVS and gave them my info so they would have it in my system when my regular meds come due in January.

Then we went to Family Dollar - I had a $5 dollars off coupon, IF I spent $25.

They had the Kathy Mitchell Copper Pans in the flyer.....but they didn't have any on the shelf.  I found the spot where they had been...so I only bought a box of candy....no $5 off!

Very nice, Jrand!  My sister painted several rooms in her house in slight variations of gray.  She really likes the color, too.

Thank you.   I expect we will have WiFi at our hotel.  In case we don't I am not sure when I will post again.

Awww.  All will be good once he is done with the meds.

Gray is the current fashionable color,  We did our condo in Gray with a white trim.
