The Olympic Committee chose its three members of the Men's Singles Figure Skating Team:

Nathan Chen, Vincent Zhou, and Adam Rippon.......even though only the first two were in the top three at nationals last night.

Ross Miner, who placed second last night, was skipped over in place of Rippon who placed 4th......for various reasons. Too bad....

About the weather: If it feels like minus 14, shouldn't we just say it IS minus 14, rather than sugarcoating it as 10 degrees, but wind makes it feel like minus 14?

As long as they let you know what it feels like and mention the chill factor. I hate when only the actual temp is reported.

I skipped Nicky's pain medication last night, and I noticed he was more uncomfortable. After breakfast this morning, I gave him a dose. He is, now, sound asleep in the middle of the hall, near the heat.

Sunday afternoon greetings! It is "warming" up a bit here is SW Ohio, but along with the higher temps comes a Winter Weather Advisory that starts at midnight. It calls for snow, freezing, and that dreaded "wintery mix." My Current Events Club has already cancelled for tomorrow afternoon.

We don't get NBCSN, so I spent the evening at my art desk and listened to music instead. I did check the results on line before I went to bed and have seen clips of the medal performances on Facebook.
