I've been watching the 1997 BBC production of Tom Jones. It's quite a lot of fun and the cast is wonderful. Most seem to have been cast for their resemblance to the Tony Richardson film cast. Since it's five hours long, it's much more faithful to Fielding's novel, and there are a lot more characters. It does give me a great appreciation for John Osborne's wonderfully swift and funny screenplay. Since this is the BBC, 1997, and not 1964, there's a good bit of nudity as well.
