Listening this morning to the OBC of All American.  "Once Upon A Time" is such a great song.

I love the card catalog, Ginny. Hope it comes together easily.

That's wonderful, DR Ginny.  I wanted a card catalog for years, then at some point, partly due to just not having the room for it (or a real purpose, if the truth must be known), I sort of forgot about it.  Congrats on having a plan, finding the right one, and making the right space for it!  :)

Wow!  A card catalog!  That's great DR GINNY!  Do they still have them in libraries?  I am assuming they do.  I haven't seen one in our new library, but they may be hidden somewhere.....

DR ChasSmith, I've been looking on and off for a while.  Don't know what made me look at Craigslist on Wednesday, but this seemed so perfect I could not resist.

Sometimes they're used behind the scenes, DR JRand, but even that seems to be on the decline.  Considering this one is from the 70s, served its purpose in a middle school library in Boyle County, KY, until the late 80s, and has been in Dudley's workshop ever since, it's in great shape.

When my baby sister Molly was small - before and after her foot operation (she wore a cast until she was about 2 1/2 years old, she was born with a club foot) - we would always listen to the soundtrack of The Unsinkable Molly Brown.  We loved it.

She had a walking cast, so she would dance to "Belly Up to the Bar".  Our favorite song was "He's My Friend."

Last night I watched Debbie Reynolds in the movie.  It's the first time I've watched it since she passed away, and it made me very sad.  She was something special.  I didn't like ALL of her movies, but she was good in everything.

I wonder - what is everyone's favorite Debbie Reynolds movie...

European Ice Skating Championships Men's and Women's Free Dance highlights today at 3 p.m. on NBC.  They are doing it all in two hours, so I would guess it's just the final groups in each discipline.  Of course they happened Friday and Saturday.....so the results are known.

Vixmom, I am always so in awe of all the outreach work your church does. I go to a very small church. We don't do anything, really. They discontinued the food pantry years ago. Anything we do is just a donation to the city's social service program.

I had a very nice nothing day yesterday. I made the cake pops for today's potluck. Then my daughter and I went to the mall to get something she wanted. I hate malls. I only like the mall before they open so I can walk in the AC during the summer.
