At the supermarket toda, there was a sale on Sundae Parlor ice cream. Vanilla ice cream with chocolate and caramel ribbons, salted peanuts and cherries. Very nice at the price.

the person who does all the planning and shopping and cooking for the soup kitchen wasn't able to attend today because she and her husband ( a recent seminary graduate and current vicar in a local church) had to go to the ordination if one of his classmates

She had however(good soul that she is) done all the planning and shopping and also packed up all the dry goods and had a list in the kitchen for me so that I knew exactly what items to pack

So I packed up the stuff and headed on over to the soup kitchen where I was pleasantly surprised to find several new volunteers

As we were cleaning up I started to feel that unpleasant tightening in my chest....

I kind of "breathed" through it and felt better , we finished clearing and I brought the dry goods and bags back to our church (the soup kitchen is held in a Lutheran church in the next town). But as I was driving home it started again...fortunately it is only a mike from church to home

I came in and told Vixdad to keep an eye on me, settled into the recliner and tried to self regulate, it finally slowed back down after 45 minutes but one if these bouts exhausts me... Feel as if I've run a marathon
