Tuesday morning greetings!  It's weirdly warm here - more like late March or early April than February 20.  I'm afraid we're gonna pay for this...

Last Thursday it was so balmy and nice here, it felt exactly like winter was now past us and it was the first day of spring.  Haven't been out yet, but I suspect it's that way again today.  It certainly looks that way, with our 2-day-old 8 inches of snow nearly gone!  Tomorrow will be insane, with it getting near 70.

Snow vibes for Jane.

Thanks-lol.  It really is very light and I don't have anywhere to go today.

My walking partner had to back out due to an issue.  I am relieved she did not need to take me up on my offer to drive her anywhere today.  I was looking forward to hot chocolate & pumpkin bread at the coffee shop.

Not surprising it is 32 degrees here.  DR Jennifer I believe it is colder here than where you are.

I am home from City Center and waiting to hear when to pick up my baby.

Dr Mohr called me around 11:30 to tell me the procedure was about to begin and that she wanted to confirm there is no heart murmur (Big Sigh of relief!) and that she had a slight temperature and fast heart beat that she attributed to Annabelle's fright and anxiety.  I'm expecting the pickup call in the next 30 minutes.

Expected news on the heart murmur but still good to hear.  It was very nice of the doctor to call you himself with the news.

Fingers crossed on the rest of it.

Herself.  Dr Mohr is a very pretty blonde.  I would swear that on the first examination Dr Mohr said she thought she heard a heart murmur,. so I'm happy that is now settled.

The good news is that I can pick her up now.

There are no polyps anywhere and that's a Big Relief.  Dr Mohr thinks the problem could be caused by infection in her broken fang - so dental work is the next project - or possibly an allergy.  We'll continue till we fnd the source.

Sounds like very good news, DR Elmore.

The dental (if not the expense) is easily taken care of, when the time comes.

DR elmore, good news/bad news.  I suspect the dental work would need to be done by a proper veterinarian demist vs your regular veterinarian.  I hope I am wrong.

Continued vibes for Annabelle & Thatch and money vibes for DR elmore!

Oh joy, it's snowing.  Lightly but enough to make it slippery out there.  I remember when seeing snow fall was said with true joy and excitement,  not sarcasm  ;D

This is what the field next to my work's parking lot looks like this morning:

You didn't.  You had other things to remember.  Thatch and Annabelle both have very pretty doctors keeping them healthy.  I like that each of them has a different doctor.

She's eating for the first time today.  I was advised to give her very little food for a couple of hours, so she had a small portion of chicken livers and hearts.

She's really hungry!

I have the impression you're wrong and that Dr Mohr will take care of that.  I will schedule that for next month.

Everyone at City Vet told me how sweet Annabelle was.  It's true.  From the moment I met her, she's wanted nothing but to bond with people.
