I'm up, I'm up - alarm didn't go off and I overslept - about nine hours of sleep.

DR JRand, sorry to hear about your credit card news. I have my credit card set up so that it sends me an email every time the card is used. I find this super helpful. And it gives me comfort to know that I would know right away if someone else used it.

I don't want to jinx it. But I wonder if winter might be over. The temps have been so mild lately. It is wonderful. We have had such a horrible winter. Hopefully the huge snow piles will continue melting.

Not surprising it is 32 degrees here.  DR Jennifer I believe it is colder here than where you are.

It is so warm here now. I am happy. Is 32F cold for you? To me that seems very warm. Right now it's 37F, which feels so warm. Honestly, even though it's ridiculous I have seen people wearing shorts outside (not many people, but still).

Oh joy, it's snowing.  Lightly but enough to make it slippery out there.  I remember when seeing snow fall was said with true joy and excitement,  not sarcasm  ;D

This is what the field next to my work's parking lot looks like this morning:

Is this considered a lot of snow? Honestly we have piles that are 10 feet high. So I am hopeful that we are done with snow.

My new fleece line waterproof, windproof pants arrived in the mail today.  I am going to test them and see if they keep me warm.  It is not really wet enough out there to truly test if they are rainproof.

No, this isn't a lot of snow, even for Olympia.  But 10 feet high snow is absolutely unheard of in this area!  We're too close to the water (Puget Sound) to get a lot more...normally.  We'd never get that unless the world was ending. ;)

I forgot the really good news.  Today the elevator was being inspected and the lights on the operating panel were lit up.

Annabelle's lights are on but no one's home.  She looks like my baby, she has some of my baby's attributes, but she's not behaving much like my cat.  She like the evil things that come back from Pet Sematary.

Should I be worried or blame it on the drugs?

It's the drugs.

Don't be worried.  She was sedated, and that knocks some of them for a loop.  Our boy Poe isn't himself the rest of the day when he's had that.  And we saw it a few years back in little Kali, who was built more like Annabelle.  In fact, one of the times she was sedated she was weird for TWO days.

All you really have to do is watch over them as it slowly wears off.  Try not to let her climb up high, for instance, lest she lose her balance.  And don't worry if her appetite's off.

I remember snow piles like this when we lived in Massachusetts.
