Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

This has been a strange day. In fact, it's been a strange couple of weeks. I blame the Heavens and wish they'd sort themselves out--pronto!

I am going to steer clear of the reviews until I get the book

Same here. I know I what to read it; I don't need reviews for that. But, of course, many, many others need those reviews to help them decide.

DR GEORGE I keep seeing prices and thinking about getting a larger television, but mine is working fine and it seems like such an extravagance.

Friday evening greetings!  I went to the Dayton ‘burbs this morning to play with my art peeps, took myself to lunch at Taco Bell, and have been puttering in my art corner ever since I got home.  Richard is at an overnight clergy meeting in Evansville, Indiana, and I’m grateful he was able to go with several other priests.

Yes that was a fine night.....DR CP and former DR KURT were with us...the show was funny.....the cast, staff, and all of us went to a local pub...well all the way downtown....and DR CP and MR BK were most popular with all of the young ladies of the cast.....

I remember one young lady in the cast was VERY fond of me for reasons that, at the time, totally eluded me.  She's still a Facebook friend but what a wacko gal she be.

TCB - it's just that I enjoy rude waiter stories.  They're mch more fun to talk about later than to live through, of course.

One of the characters in the musical VIVA MAX! who pushes the plot forward now has the character name RUDE WAITER.  The actor who played the waiter liked it much more than when the script had previously just called him WAITER

Vert true ;D

Today they are showing the funeral procession of the policeman who was killed in the line of duty last Friday.....

The killer was on camera heading into his first court hearing on Wednesday.....a reporter asked him why he shot, and he said: "I didn't want to be bit by that dog!"  The policeman had his canine Brik with him.  The reporter then asked if he had any remorse, and the guy said:  "No.  No remorse at all. None."

Sad and kind of shocking he wouldn't pretend to have remorse.

Yes MR BK I know exactly the girl you are speaking of....I don't see her posts quite as often as I used to.....but they are still very bee-zarre.

Several narrowly avoided near disasters, a new Keurig, an impossible assignment (think the miller's  daughter) and a bouquet of a dozen long stemmed yellow roses
