Last night, we watched OSCAR WILDE with Robert Morley.

Since it was released in 1960, the filmmakers had to dance around the subject matter, but I thought the picture was quite good.  Morley and Ralph Richardson, who played the prosecuting attorney, were superb.

  • Have a REALLY nice day!

I didn't ask when they called to tell me this, (I will when I pick it up), but I wonder if the temp gauge even needed to be replaced in the first place. :-\ Hopefully, it did and I spent the original $360+ for a good reason.

Try asking for a discount since that didn't solve the problem.

Well, they called to update me and I asked and it turns out that the temp gauge really did need to be replaced anyway.  If they had just known about the thermostat, they would've tested things and found that the temp gauge wasn't working and would've called asking to replace that as well, so it all needed to be done.  And it is being done. :)

Great.  It is very upsetting to pay for something that didn't need doing.  It has happened to me before and I did get them to change by bill.

Softcover of GEE has arrived and looks splendid.  Hardcover tomorrow.  These both came from Amazon - I've seen squat from the publisher and I just left another strong message.  The order went in on Monday and they were supposed to overnight me the book.

Yes.  They ate and he’s napping now.

Someday we’ll hear about their time in Paris, but right now it’s kind of overshadowed by their unexpected stay in Philadelphia.

Well, we were lucky right here — looks like about three inches — whereas Lawn Guyland got killed.  I’m hearing nineteen inches or thereabouts?  And vixmom’s pictures tell the tale.  Plus, the city itself is unreal, man.  We haven’t seen this in a while.

New pix on FB  if anyone  cares to move them

Even though I have to wait to read GEE, I am extremely happy I can do so on my tablet.  Last night was horrible with the hardcover.

Back from the ADDAMS rehearsal, and on to a (hopefully) peaceful evening and a halfway decent night of sleep, because...

I have to get up at 5:00 am to meet my people and get into NYC for their annual auditions at Pearl Studios.  They're doing SHE LOVES ME this summer.

It's a fun day, for the most part.  But it gets followed by an evening of LES MISERABLES at a local high school which I absolutely must go and sit through in support of my friends the director and music director.  (Oy!)  :)

So, if you don't see me here tomorrow morning...

And how long is this waiting supposed to be exactly?  You are, you know, in charge of what you read and when.

Traditionally if schools have too many snow days they tack a couple of days on to the end of the school calendar.  Apparently in Maryland, for some strange reason, the governor mandated all school districts must end by June 15th.  Craig is not happy about these 2 days off of work since they have to made up at sometime.  He is concerned there will only be 3 days of Spring Break.

I would be an angry parent if my vacation plans were ruined.

Monday night, after my book discussion group meets.  If I continue to read only 42 pages a day on this book I will never finish it by Monday.
