ONE CHARACTER IN SEARCH OF A DAY

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were in search of the notes, and now it is time for you to post until the searching cows come home.

At last night's Cinder Edna rehearsal, we were told that we lost our stage manager/choreographer (the same person was doing both jobs).  They didn't tell us why, but I'd heard through the grapevine that she got a paying gig and couldn't pass it up.  Good for her, but not for us. :-\

Annabelle's not happy eating soft food, and I wonder if some of her current behavior is the fact that she wants her dry food and treats, all of which are off limits for another 12 days.  Thatch wants his supplementary dry Meow Mix, but when I try to offer him some, Annabelle barges in for it.

I must do a good shopping trip for foodstuffs and a few other things today.  But the day is mine, MINE, for accomplishing anything I wish to accomplish.

One thing, outdoors, is collecting the driveway reflectors, sorting out the still-good from the broken, getting rid of those, and putting the good ones away till.....dare I say it?  December 2018?

Oh yeah, and the sand bucket that I think is still down there someplace.

Sheesh.  These things could have / should have been done a week ago.  But it was a season to be superstitious and leave them out longer than usual.

I need to do some work on my ADDAMS book.  This time, some desk work.  They printed most of it with songs starting on the wrong side of the page, resulting in many of the page turns in both keyboard books being utterly atrocious.

Two weeks is a long time to have to monitor the kitties' hard vs soft foods.  I don't remember having to do that except for maybe the first couple of days after a dental procedure.  Good luck, DR Elmore!

Yep.  Two weeks!  Thinly sliced deli turkey is very soft, so they get that as a treat.  I just came back from the corner bodega with a pound of it.

DR Jane, considering how much you read you should try an e-reader. I think that you would find it so different from a tablet. I sort of can't believe that any avid reader would choose a tablet over an e-reader.

Thursday morning greetings!  Richard and I have podiatrist appointments in Dayton today and this evening we're going to Hamilton to hear a lecture by author Jon Meacham.  Before we leave for Dayton, Rob and I will deliver 4 boxes of books (from a friend) to the AAUW book sale site.  The biggest of the 4 is completely full of Nancy Drew books.

In 1986, I was lucky enough to see George G. Scott and John Cullum in THE BOYS IN AUTUMN at Circle in the Square in NYC.

Not the world's greatest play, but seeing Scott on stage was worth the price of admission.

On the other hand, having read Scott's biography and from what I've heard about him. I don't think he was a person who I would like to have known.

George, so sorry to hear about the person leaving your show.  Hope you find a good replacement, or maybe it'll be two good people for the two jobs.
