Did anyone mention "Chapel of Love." Not a great favorite of mine, but someone must LOVE it.

Well, I better get ready to head in... I need to clear the snow off the car... I also feel like making a bakery stop on the way in...  Treats for my cast and crew and not for myself... -I did have my oatmeal this morning, so...  in any case...

I guess it comes as no surprise that the repetitive nature of "Love Changes Everything" is a total turnoff for me.

I did want to mention "Where Is Love?" mentioned earlier is also one of my favorites.

OHH!!!!  And my niece, Alexandra, came over here this morning with her brother and her father (my brother, Mike), and she actually didn't run screaming from me!!!  In fact, she fed/shared one of her Goldfish crackers to/with me, and she even asked me to find somemore "Gold-pishhh" when she had emptied the bag.  And we even played horsey too!

;D

That is a beautiful story of love and fish, Dear Reader Jose.

My Bollywood movie for the weekend is NAGINA (1951). It is a creepy horror film about a young man searching for his missing father. He comes upon a castle inhabited by a madman, his lovely daughter, a  brute-like assistant, and a man kept captive in the basement.

The movie is very good, however the subtitles are out of whack...sometimes they are there and sometimes they are not...it is very annoying as I don't know what the characters are saying half the time because they somehow forgot to subtitle much of the film.

And from the looks of the DVD cover you would never guess this was a horror film!

By now, MBarnum, I'd think you'd be able to understand everything in a Bollywood film, subtitles or not. ;D

Writer's Block is back in the top 50,000 (out of two million) at amazon.  That makes me very happy.

Love Makes the World Go Round.

I've written hundreds of songs and do you know I cannot recall one in which I used the word "love" in the title.  Maybe I'm just not remembering.  Ooh, wait, I just remembered - Together Again has a song called Falling Out of Love.  Whew!

Sergio Mendes & Brasil '77  ;D did a whole album of love songs when they moved to Bell Records in 1973, including the wonderful Lambert/Potter tune that gave the album its title:

Love Music (with one of the grooviest guiro tracks ever)

Thank you, DR Ginny. Her hair was cut by, Mark, a wonderful (and easy on the eyes) stylist we met at bk's Christmas do. He was there with the charming Kevin Spirtas.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELAN!

TCB Angel is incredibly white.  Today is another day-Nicky’s turn.

Poor Ann.  If hospitals didn’t send you home the same day as surgery they could control the pain by IV without the same level of nausea.

Hiska the Sushun’s are beautiful.  I found the site thank you and have been corresponding by emailed.  Soon I will be ordering a few towels to sample them.

Speaking of hair:  DS and I were watching a Night Gallery episode last night starring Miss Patty Duke and the recently departed Virginia Mayo.  There is a moment with a gigantic closeup of Patty, and DS and I reacted with horror simultaneously upon seeing she had a very noticeable and dark mustache!  "They should have bleached that," DS said, almost as if she had had personal experience in such matters.   ;)

DR Jane - One of my pet peeves, too!  I consider myself fortunate that what little experience I've had with hospitals and surgery was long enough ago that I was able to stay until I felt like coming home.

Healing vibes to DR Ann.

DR elmore, could you re-orchestrate "Yesterday I Loved You" in your spare time?  It's such a lovely song, words and melody, but a HORRID accompaniment!!!!

DRMatthew, are you referring to the original orchestration on the Carol Burnett recording or the new Bruce Coughlin "improvement" on the dreadful Sarah Jessica Parker CD?  I think the original orchestrations for this show are quite lovely.

I was so groggy this morning I forgot:  HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DR ELAN!!!!

DRGinny, I'll take care of the ticket and you can pay me when you see me.

The snowfall has begun!  I hope it doesn't screw up planned trip to the movies at 5:00 with goddaughter Charlotte.

How does she feel about your adopting Chooster?

...and Schubert's Trout Quintet

And I forgot the song this morning!  The quintet is called the the "Trout" because the variations are based on the Schubert song "The Trout," and I love the quintet!
The song's nice, too!

DR HIsaka, I also wanted to mention how beautiful those roses are. I have never had much luck growing roses. When I moved into my house there were many roses, but I eventually dug them out and gave them to my neighbors because I just couldn't take care of them very well and they looked so sad (the roses, not my neighbors).

Fortunately neighbors Clara and Mike did wonders with them and they are looking very healthy (the roses, not the neighbors).

Speaking of my neighbors Clara and Mike, they sold their house and moved this week...I am awaiting the new neighbors. I hope they are nice...I would hate to get mean neighbors.

I have so far been quite blessed to have wonderful neighbors and I would like to keep it that way.

For 3 Stooges fans, I see that SNOW WHITE AND THE 3 STOOGES is being released on DVD in a few months. I know it is not one of their best movies but I have always enjoyed it...it is fun to see Carol Weiss skate and looking at hunky Edson Stroll as the prince is no chore, believe me!

And when is L'IL ABNER being released, does anyone know? I wonder if Leslie Parrish will buy herself a copy?
