The brunch was quite wonderful; Ella went off to a rehearsal and Tim went off to Frozen, where he keeps an eye on the show.

You know if Tim needs someone to hold his briefcase one day, I am sure I could make myself available...

The Joan Rivers joke was something like:  My husband came to dinner in a T-shirt.  I said “No! No, no, no! At least go put on some underpants.  If not for my sake, then for your mother's.  Or we'll never be allowed in this restaurant again."

The one thing that stands out the most disturbingly...?

Well, I’ll tell you.

It’s vixmom and the enchiladas. Or lack of same. It’s like a major disruption in the Force or something.

Well apparently my dinner selection for that evening has been made.  I am sure photographic evidence will be required

I was trying to remember what my first Mexican food was. No idea, really. But it almost certainly had to be on the order of Taco Bell and the like. And when I was finally taken to a “real” Mexican restaurant? Bliss.

Mine was probably Jack in the Box tacos....those frozen monstrosities that they would deep fry and give to you dripping oil

I have come to the conclusion that I do not care for mole sauce on my enchiladas.

Well that's hardly surprising seeing as you're a vegetarian .

However even as a card carrying carnivore I have never been tempted to eat a mole

Trying to clean out the freezer. I had duck breast, peas with mint and butter, and mushrooms for dinner.

Dang! When I have leftovers from the freezer I have hotdogs, some old broccoli and a freezer burned carrot or two

That reminds me of someone I once knew who insisted the lyric was

I just found out my friend was outside when the ash was falling.  She doesn't feel great but nothing bad.  She was unable, so far, to clean up the mess in her little courtyard and said it is difficult to take her dogs out there.  Hopefully it will be easier to clean once it dries.  Someone told her it would turn to cement.  I sure hope not.

Yup.  She is able to take them out for quick potty breaks but of course they are taking ash and mud back inside.

I suggest trying 2 different fillings in the enchiladas since you don't know which you prefer.

I have seen, and eaten it, served over cheese enchiladas.  Often it is too spicy for me.
