I will be attending the SISTER ACT run thru for Act One tonight....originally scheduled for 6:30 p.m.  But now, since some of the participants wish to audition for the upcoming Opera....the run thru has been pushed back to 7:15 p.m. - which really messes me up, because I wanted to get to the BAREFOOT IN THE PARK performance which ends about 10:30 p.m.

Same will be happening tomorrow....oh well....I may make it for the curtain calls.

At 6:30 p.m. since she obviously has nothing else to work on, she will be working on the scenes with the Mother Superior and the Monsignor...which means once again I shall be directed word for word....but that's okay.

I too liked the movie version of FLOWER DRUM SONG which I saw on the NBC Saturday night movie, I think....

I have the cast album which I love AND the soundtrack...both on LP and CD.  Flower Drum Song LP's were in the group that I was giving away to family and friends, and I could not persuade anyone to take one.....

MR BK I believe I read at one time that the paintings from the credits were hanging in the office of Mr. Ross Hunter - and some of them were at his home in Trusdale.

So if his estate or the estate of his partner Jacques Mapes had an auction, they were probably sold then....

I've always loved the ancestor paintings created by Burt Schoenberg for that wonderful scene (one of my top favorites) in "House of Usher". I think Roger Corman says on a commentary that he doesn't have any idea what happened to them. Well, all I know is that I don't have them.

For some reason, even though singdaw come back to HHW after something that could have been worded differently, and had stayed quite a while before his life took him away again, Ms. Julie Miller is now claiming in a lengthy manifesto that singdaw left HHW because of something I said - which is technically right about the first time, but not the second time.

Former DR singdaw has dropped me as a friend, and when I tried to apologize for whatever events occurred to provoke something I do not even remember, he stopped communicating.

He came back as DAW the second time, is that right?

It was one of those things where for all the typed rancor, I felt Ok just going over and wanting to hug him at a Drama Book Stop event after that, the one for BK!  I recall meeting Jane Klain that night, which I enjoyed.

Maybe if I actually met cyberstalker-Encores-videographer Jonathan Frank... LOL!
But definitely one of his posting-pals Jeffrey Brooks, "vic" on Stalkin Broadway, and Talkin Broadway, when I finally got his name and googled (Jeffrey Brooks was an active GMHC lawyer and did speaking at colleges and such), I said OMG, actually had the sheet where he first gave me his number in the 1980s stapled in my Rolodex from AIG and some pals  remembered him, even recalled his life partner then was a big AIDS activist.  When I reminded him, maybe he googled me and added the years, but Jeffrey seemed to back off then.

Jonathan Frank still does the stuff in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
