Well, you've read the notes, the notes were designed and run-through, and now it is time for you to post until the designer cows come home.

Today is going to be a long day.  I need to be at the theater by 9:00 a.m.  The stage manager and I (and maybe the director, too) will go through all the props, the band will set levels, the cast will work some scenes, and then I think they're going to run the show.  The rehearsal is supposed to go until 3:00 p.m., but I'll need to leave by about 11:45 a.m.  I need to go to work to be the supervisor for people who want to work extra hours because we won't otherwise get a paycheck on December 31.

I'll work until 5:00, then I'm off to Seattle!  My friend David got tickets for On Your Feet.  I hope that traffic isn't bad on the way up so that we can get something to eat before the show.  We'll see.  And I hope the show is good.  I know that the singer/actors will be good and that there will be a LOT of energy, but hopefully, it'll be worth it. :D

Last night I decided to upgrade my computer to Mojave Version 10.14, and when we al went to bed, it was chugging away on the upgrade,  Around 1:30 I got up to use the bathroom, sat down at the computer to check out the new upgrade, and around 2:30 I went back to bed.

When Thatch started climbing all over me this morning, I looked at the clock and they had let me sleep until 7:45!  That's an hour later than usual,  and I knew they must be starving. They're fed, I'm dressed, and except for my impending financial collapse, things are okay.  I need any or all of the following to happen to save my skin along with Annabelle's and Thatch's and to pay back outstanding loans:
1.  my How To Succeed . . . colleague to submit the damned invoice; I really screwed myself on this deal.
2.  my brothers to stop pricing that damned Ohio property so high and sell it.
3.  some work:  a conductor and a singer I've worked with a bit told me last November and January that they would have work for me this year;  I'm still waiting for a call.
4.  a recording The New Yorkers; I was sure there would be a recording after the production and nothing happened.
5.  the release of the Moonshine & Mistletoe recording we made in March 2017.
6.  a lottery win.

DR TCB, I still cannot believe people were stupid enough to vote for Trump in the 2016 election.

Musical composer I have NEVER gotten:

Harold Rome...except for a couple of songs in Destry Rides Again.

I agree with you!

The Classical ones that elude me:
Hindemith
Weber
Buxtehude

Today is Strut your mutt day.  I am going to a little dog parade to raise money for the local shelter.  The dogs will be in Halloween costumes.

Larry -  for the Ohio property, is it 2 out of 3 needing to say yes, or does it need to be all 3 saying yes?

Jrand - maybe give some of Harold Rome's score for PINS AND NEEDLES a chance? (though it's a revue)

I’ll hitch a ride on DR Elmore’s Hindemith and Weber, and add Bruckner.

And Schumann (Robert).

Oh hell, there are certainly several others I could honor in this fashion, but I’m too lazy to come up with them.

2 out of 3.  Macbeth tends to bully Randy.

So even the brother you're close to doesn't get your need (vs. his own greed?).

Edit: Oh, I see your change to your post above.

Now that they are no longer in business together I thought Macbeth had lost his bully power.  I suppose some sibling dynamics never change.

I cannot presume to understand my brothers' thinking processes.  Neither of them know my precarious current financial state, and even if I tell Randy I'm in bad shape, he has his no idea how badly.

The pet parade was fun this morning.  My neighbor said next year we will go for the entire time and have breakfast there.  Our time with the dogs was too short.  The people who coordinated their costumes with the dogs were terrific.

The event was at Beaches where the owner does a number of various fund raiser events.  From everything we here he is a really good guy.  On a regular basis the restaurant has one large booth, with a river view, that can be reserved for a $10 fee.  The $10 goes to charity.  We have reserved the table a few times when we have had out of town company.
