A FUN-THROUGH, A DEAD BATTERY, AND A RECORDING SESSION
« on: November 11, 2018, 12:24:41 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were a fun-through, had a dead battery, and were recorded, and now it is time for you to post until the recording cows come home.

Have a great day, all!

Last night was the first really cold night, so Annabelle spent much of it buried under my blankets.  The apartment is quite cold this morning and she and Thatch have been romping like mad, jumping from pillar to post.  This is odd since I have neither pillar nor post in the apartment.

Today, I have a bit more laundry to winterize the bed.  I hope I can be finished up by noon. Then I can spend the remainder of the day tidying up and doing as little as possible.

BK, I hope your recording session goes smoothly and that the entire day has none of the crises of yesterday.

The litter is cleaned, Annabelle and I have made our patrol, and the laundry is in the washers.  Thatch lay in the cat tree and watched me turn the mattress without offering a bit of help.

I've dug out the comforter and Grandma's quilt for the bed, and now I wait on the laundry.

That was the funniest part - except when Richard, as Mark Antony, said...."I am through with you.....uh....I am through with the BOTH of you!"

DR TCB, I don't recall that your sister has a stepson or that your niece has a granddaughter.

I'm up, I'm up - five hours of sleep and a little allergy attack, so I got up and took a pill and it will soon abate.  Better up a little early to get my wits about me.

The heater went on last night for the first time. Temperatures are expected to get down to freezing in a couple of days. It's colder earlier this year. Someone I met yesterday was talking about he was getting in the pool up to Dec. 1 last year.

Yesterday was not a fun day. Mom got a call from a neighbor who said she found Dad wandering in her backyard. Mom said he must have left while she was doing laundry. My sister was planning on going on, so she did so. I really don't know what they worked out, other than they're trying to have a stronger trip alarm in place whenever the doors open.

Went out and started the car and it was fine.  Got out, pressed the button on the fob and no beep, which means the interior lights would not go off.  I could not get it to beep so I went into the car and manually shut off the interior lights (so it doesn't light automatically and then fade like it does when it's working properly).  Then I pressed the fob and got the beep, so that's good.  I need to take the car in for a long overdue servicing and maybe they can suss out the issue.

Yes, get that electrical issue fixed or you'll never know when the battery is going to crap out again. Since one light circuit seems to be the problem, this annoyance should be easy for them to resolve. (Famous last words.)
