Congratulations to BK on the successful review.  It sounds as if the audience saw past the bad club and focused on the great show

Best vibes for DR Elmore in getting that company off his back.

I know nothing about them except that they have a reputation for being mightily aggressive and difficult to deal with, including fixing their own mistakes.

BK:  What a horror, the way that venue treats its artistes -- and, by extension, its paying customers.

How can they function that way for five minutes and hope to attract business?

For Pete's (and others') sake, HIGH SCHOOLS have better sound systems than that nowadays!

Last night I was browsing some people's reminiscences re Hello, Dolly! productions, and I so wish there were some film/video of "Come and Be My Butterfly". If there is, and I have as yet missed it, please point the way.

Also have been enjoying BK's 1994 revival cast recording. Must re-read the tales of the making of same.

Before the show I made my way down the stairs from the box and up the aisle to use the facilties.  I thougtht I recognized a man standing near the wall looking at his phone.  It was none other than our own DR Jose!  I saw him again at intermission. We chatted for a bit.  It was so nice to see him.

Wednesday morning greetings!  For the first time since we returned from Illinois Sunday afternoon, I have nothing on my calendar today.  Yesterday I had a noon book discussion and an early evening program both at the library where my career began.  Both were enjoyable, but I wish they hadn't been on the same day.

Bird seed was on sale for $1 per pound.....so I bought two pounds each of some nice seed for Birdy Barnum.....I mixed the two....and so he will be enjoying a new treat soon.  I will add a bit of the new mix to his regular food each day so he will get used to it....

Also found a nice task chair for the new computer table in the entertainment room.....much nicer than the folding chair that was there.

Still watching at Goodwill for a couple of NICE chairs for the room....even if they don't match.....I will know them when I see them....

I liked the MARY POPPINS RETURNS songs.....although I hate that website....so annoying....

I think I like the Sherman songs from the original better - BUT this was just a first listen.....
