Also from last night:  here down in Olympia, there was quite a bit of rain, but I didn't see any blue like Tom had, nor did I hear any thunder.

Laughing that Bruce chose "Atelier" (French for "studio") as the word for the day....seeing as I am married to a Frog  :D

Thank you for the birthday wishes!

No word from the Tresóna folk, which pisses me off.  I've made the phone call, left a message, and sent the email.

I'm off to City Center this morning.  Joshie and I are creating a vocal score  for I Married An Angel in the next weeks.

Annabelle and Thatch spent part of the night curled up together on my bed for some time,  then Annabelle retired to the cat tree and Thatch curled up next to me.  At one point he climbed onto my chest and slept there.

Still waiting for the Music Theatre payment.  My How To Succeed . . . colleague really took his time submitting invoices for this payment.  I am not happy.

I met my friends yesterday.  Since they're Barbra fans I took them to Liberty State Park to see the old railroad station which was the setting for "Don't Rain on My Parade" in Funny Girl.

After dinner we thought we'd see if we could get reasonably-priced tickets for "To Kill a Mockingbird."    I was surprised that the ticket prices are lower than most shows.  They actually have $39 and $49 tickets in the balcony.  We asked if there was anything in the balcony. The man said no, but I can offer you box seats for $49 (the regular price is $119).  The tickets were marked "partial view," but they were still very good.  I don't think we missed much--just a little on the far left side.

What a magnificent, powerful, show!  The acting was superb.  Jeff Daniels plays Atticus Finch and Celia Keenan-Bolger as Scout.   The children are played by adults and I think it works very well.

Before the show I made my way down the stairs from the box and up the aisle to use the facilties.  I thougtht I recognized a man standing near the wall looking at his phone.  It was none other than our own DR Jose!  I saw him again at intermission. We chatted for a bit.  It was so nice to see him.

I am glad TCBs story had a happy ending, getting a car stalled in a flooded street is no joke, I lost  a car that way back when Vixdad and I were just married

We didn't realize how deep the water was and it poured in the doors and and was inhaled by the engine and that was all she wrote. The car never ran again
