Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Do you, at least, sing the song?

Yes, the song is sung as written, but I don't have to do much movement.  The kids are in line and they're brought to me one at a time by the elves, then they're taken away from me.

I have no idea how the song is written.  You know that THE CHRISTMAS STORY is my least favorite, so I have also stayed away from the musical.

Ahh.  I think it's a really cute show.

I have never even heard the music.

THIS is the song from the "World Premiere Recording," made before it came to Broadway, I think.  A few of the lyrics are different than what we're doing, and we're not taking it as fast but it's otherwise the song. :)

Was Tom Wopat actually in the Broadway production, or is he just the narrator?

He was just the narrator on that recording.  Liz Callaway sang the part of the mother, and she wasn't in the Broadway production, either.

thank you all for the birthday wishes.   Good luck to Vixmom getting that job :).   Enjoy your Thursday, everyone.

Newflash:   there's piddling from the sky here in the San Fernando Valley.  Not even qualifiable as real rain, just enough to cancel a Trump event :) :).
