Picked up no packages, got a foot long Eyetalian Subway sandwich to eat here - just didn't feel like wasting an hour sitting in a restaurant. Have managed to like all of the thus far 500-plus Facebook birthday wishes - that took an hour this morning - and now I'm listening to more of the Sir Charles Groves British music box set. I've heard about ten CDs out of the twenty-four - what a set this is, and the choral stuff is proving to be some of my favorite stuff because it's all new to me. Listening to a major Delius choral piece now, A Mass of Life.

Saturday afternoon greetings! Thanks to everyone who sent me eye vibes yesterday. Paramedic Rob was correct - it’s a stye that’s infected, so I’m on antibiotic drops and pills. After my appointment we shopped, ate, and had a delightful time singing the Messiah chorus parts with the Butler Philharmonic. I kept up pretty well, but I don’t try to sing the runs. Maybe with weeks and weeks of rehearsal, but not cold.

I got some good sketches down on paper for my choral arrangement until Annabelle decided she would help me. She basked in the heat from my desk lamp, she tossed a few paper clips around, she tried to pick up the edge of my blotter with her claws, and I called it a day.
