I spent the day cleaning the fellowship building (after the cleaning crew was there) to get ready for a private party tomorrow night. This cleaning crew seems to be a "second chance" thing for ex-cons to get jobs. Too bad their work is sub-par.

Well, at least the one building gets a thorough cleaning once a year.

Tonight is the annual rerun of the I Love Lucy Christmas Special and this year's newly colorized rerun is PIONEER WOMEN.....I shudder to think about the lines that will be cut.....but I am sure I will still laugh....

I'm sorry the cleaning people aren't helping to lighten your load, Laura. In my experience, many of the professional cleaners are sub-par. Motivation seems to be lacking.

Annabelle is congested again.  This is beginning to be a very bad joke.  I cannot afford to take her to the vet every time her sinuses need flushing and, to make it worse, I don't think this children's nose drops is doing a thing.

I suggest you look for some veterinary websites that are geared to non-veterinarians, people who just want to keep their pets healthy. I'm often amazed at how much information is out there--books or online--and how much of it was not conveyed to me by my practitioners.

Vibes to Annabelle.

How's the German, John G? I imagine you and your sister converse mainly in English.

Woo hoo, Vixmom!  I will celebrate the end of this era at a party tomorrow night. Well, I will be "The Help" at the party, but partying nonetheless.

It is nice to give them a second chance, still you shouldn't have to clean after they are gone.  Unfortunately that happens too often with any cleaning crew.

Other than that, still doing some Christmas shopping for the kids, as the adults are all taken care of.  A few bottles of booze for other people, and I'm done.  So done.   Counting the days (11) before I leave for Amsterdam for a week or so away.

Amsterdam is nice.  We spent a couple of hours there once.  I would like to return one day and see the rest of the city.
