Bel Canto is nearing an end. Surprisingly, the director captured a lot of what was good about the book.

Well, I need to be leaving work now.  I and several co-workers are going up to Seattle for the ALA (American Library Association) Midwinter Conference.  We're only going to the exhibition hall with all the publishers and sellers (FREE STUFF!!).

I like FREE STUFF! Marie Duplecks, or whatever her name is, probably would not.

I'm going to bring a couple of extra bags, just in case. ;)

As usual, I found a lot of loose change at the bottom of the bag, where it all ends up  before I go through the TSA screeners.

Among the coins, I found a couple of Danish Krones and five one dollar coins!

I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but I don’t know often I will be able to post next week on the ship.

So, what are you going to do with the Danish Krones?  Gonna save 'em and go back?

Now that I am a senior citizen on a fixed income, I really can’t afford those expense computer rates on the ship.

As usual?  I would expect you to empty your bag after each trip ;D

No free wifi to use your tablet instead of the ship's computer?  Do you have a smartphone that will possibly work in the the ports?
