Found out last night that one of my shows will be performed April 2020. I know that it’s 14 months away but I am so looking forward to it and perfecting it

Now Thatch is demanding attention and showing affection: he's grabbing my knee to be petted, butting my hand, nipping at my fingers and licking them, and rolling around the floor to get his tummy rubbed.  I've been calling him my guardian angel because he follows me to the bathroom when I get up in the middle of the night and then leads me back to my bed, where he jumps up to sleep next to me after I've climbed back in.  Yet, if I make a move to put my hands around him or to hold him, he ruins in terror.

I'm happy to know that with all of our sturm und drang last year, we've reached such a positive place.

Sweet.

As DR GINNY said - rain for the next couple of days.  I have to keep my towels changed so that my furnace doesn't get wet....and hopefully contact the roof man to fix the leak around the chimney stack......

Good luck with getting the problem fixed very soon.

I have never heard of a tortuous colon, and now I know someone who has one!

Maybe I do.  Why wasn't it mentioned before.  At least it explained why itt was tender when I pressed on my stomach.

Using up the last two slices of bread in the house, I just wolfed down a dee-licious homemade egg sandwich. No cheese or breakfast meats, just two eggs w/salt & pepper on toast with butter and a thin layer of mayonnaise and brown deli mustard on each side.

OMG, so good. I would make another, but...WE'RE OUT OF BREAD!!!

I've been trying to remember when I started with the mayo and mustard, but I think I was doing it as far back as the early '80s in California. Many will say "mustard?!?". Lordy, yes, bring it on. Nathan says that's a strong Pennsylvania Dutch (Deutsch) influence, as they put mustard on everything including eggs, which they pronounce "ecks".

This puts me in the mood to shop for a complete set of foodstuffs for Northeastern Diner/Deli Style breakfast sandwiches. But honestly, at home they can become a lot of work. Oh, it's easy enough to add a slice of cheese, but the simple fix above is quite enough.

Congrats to DR MICHAEL on his upcoming production.

Yes, I have heard that Tryon story....he wrote some books that I like very much.....I think my two favorites are The Other and Lady.

Those stories by Tryon are good stuff, which resulted in a couple of fine movies.

I had never seen THE CARDINAL until, literally, last year, and I do mean 2018. My friend with the projection system had acquired it -- I think it was a European Blu-ray -- and it wasn't a great restoration or transfer of that kind of film, but it was great fun to watch on his 128" screen. I'd had no idea what the story really was, and it wasn't what I expected. But yes, great music by Mr. Moross, and great fun.

DR Jrand68, I'm probably forgetting something totally obvious, but I don't remember what the reference to towels is.

On Sunday I'm seeing the closing matinee of the first regional production of A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder.

I already don't forgive myself for failing to catch it on Broadway, and I'm sure I'll only berate myself more after seeing it up here. Not that this one won't be good. But, you know.

Fortunately, it's in the hands of a superb cast and one of our very best directors and music directors. My local director friend and I had momentarily dreamed of being the first in our area to secure it, but we were committed to other projects by the time rights became available.

I love that CD DR CHAS SMITH - I hope the production is good

I put towels on top of my furnace to keep the leaking water from going to inside of it and shorting out my motherboard......since I am on my third one in the last 12 months, and the furnace man just discovered what was causing the malfunctions last month.

Elmore, Rex is still alive. He isn't grooming himself, so being a long-haired cat, he is terribly matted. He growls and scratches and bites when we try to brush him.

Leonard is a seven-month old kitten -- into everything. He tears around the house at times like a devil is chasing him.

Joshie and I had a great time playing with the Angels today.  I learned all about last night's invited dress, we talked about the Call Me Madam production, and got through the first four numbers in the score for I Married an Angel.  On my way home I stopped at the market so Thatch has more low sodium turkey.  He and Annabelle want dinner.
