Annabelle is very naughty today.  Our patrol became a game of tag, and I chased her all the way up to the fourth floor.  She was having fun.  After the third floor, I was vexed.

I don't know how you people deal with snow. I am so glad I live in Arizona.

The plowing neighbor just did his plowing neighbor thing, and boy did it sound heavy and crunchy out there.

We got 2+ inches plus the icy glaze on top that you could hardly even walk on. Squirrels were sliding on it while running and leaping around. Sunny and clear now, and warming up to 35 or 37 or so today, so things should hopefully improve forthwith.

I so wish I could see Betty Buckley's Dolly. Alas, or even a lass, it is not to be. But what a wonderful review, which bears out what we were first hearing from her opening of the tour in Cleveland.

We had a major snowstorm last night that is still falling. All the schools are closed. So far I think it's been around 35-40 cms (40cms = 16 inches). :(

Update.
Things are slowly getting better. Most tests are coming back negative. Some things still have problems. I’ve been able to go back to the gym. Started WW last month. It is really the best way to help you take the unnecessary weight off. As of today eating better and more exercise I have lost 22lbs.

I am happy my old friend Lewis is a good Horace.  I thought he would be.  I'm happy you liked the show, BK.  I saw it with Bernadette Peters, who was good, but I didn't like her back phrasing much of the score.

Thank you, DR Elmore. Back phrasing is such a dangerous pit. Even the best who fall in usually have a lot of trouble climbing back out.

For me, though, "Ribbons Down My Back" is the greatest trap of them all. Few come back unscarred after an encounter with that monster. And I love that song.

Good morning.  We got about an inch of snow a couple of miles from vixmom.  But retirement allowed me to stay in all day. Today I will warm up the cars, but no shoveling

in rē Dolly:  After I saw Ginger in Madison, I went to Dallas to visit my parents, and lo and behold, Ginger was playing at a huge Roman colloseum and we were way up in the balcony.  Get this, BK.  The minute the dialogue started, and we  couldn't understand a word, my Dad the retired FBI agent marched up the aisle, cornered an usher, and in minutes we were reseated in the orchestra.

Alas!  Had Si taken me to dinner I might have introduced my parents to Ginger.

Of course there is the story - possible apocryphal - about Champion putting Miss Rogers in the show and spending as much time with her as the union allows....  At one point he left abruptly and walked out of the theatre - where he encountered Hermes Pan walking down the street.

"Hermes, why didn't you tell me?"
"Gower, I thought you knew."

Back - from shoveling the sidewalk.

Driveway is already in good shape, thanks to the PN (plowing neighbor) and the sun and the just-enough-above-freezing temps.

My question for ASK BK DAY:

When you did a movie like The Apple Dumpling Gang - did they give you whole script or just your scenes?

DR TCB I am sorry you are stuck at home and hope you still have food.

I did not see your response to George's question regarding Nicky's medication.  "Do you still have some or are you completely out?"

Yes she does.  We briefly had a snow blower neighbor the winter Keith was in Pennsylvania while the boys and I were in Massachusetts.   There was a lot of snow that year and the neighbor knew I was on my own.
