Well, you've read the notes, the notes were anxious and had hair, and now it is time for you to post until the anxious, hairy cows come home.

Well, I'm having trouble staying awake (no, really!), so I'm off to bed.  I told my sister that I would go to her place and put up some new light fixtures that she got, and I shall, but I need to get them done before the Academy Awards start at 5 pm, left coast time!  So, sadly, I can't stay up late or sleep in. :P

I doubt it. I’m rooting, as usual for some underdogs, including Spike Lee.

As is my habit, I will watch the Oscars tonight.

If I get too bored, as I did a couple of years ago, I'll go into my office and work on my next play.

I've only seen 2 of the nominated films thus far:

THE WIFE (Glenn Close was terrific.)
THE BLACK KLANSMAN (Just so-so)

Most of the other nominees, unless they win, are of little interest.

I will be E&T from the Oscars partay because of the show. I’m out from five in the evening till nearly midnight.

Won’t see it at all unless I DVR it, but honestly, I know I wouldn’t ever sit down and watch it on another day. I’ll have to catch the clips of anything interesting or outrageous that happens.

Have a fine evening, everyone!

My dream was as crazy a musical thing as they get. I was learning how to physically “put together” the instruments I’d be playing for each Hello, Dolly! song. It defies description.

But it also had to do with checking recordings for how a few passages originally sounded, after a few questions arose in my lovely mind last night. That will be done today.

I slept really late after feeding the kitties.  Annabelle crawled into bed ands slept at my knees and Thatch curled up at my chest.  They had a nice nap and I got two and a half more hours of sleep.

I always confuse Tuesdays with Morrie with my friend Jeff's play Visiting Mr Green, which I saw years ago with Eli Wallach as Mr. Green.

BK, was F. Murray Abraham in the cast?  He's a fantastic actor - I first saw him on Broadway in The Ritz in the 1970s - but, like Jeff Daniels, he was a complete jerk and rude little turd in too many encounters at The Drama Book Shop.

DR JohnG, I love Hudson Talbott's work!  I have his dinosaur books.  Do you think he'd be interested in illustrating the Annabelle and Thatch stories?

My friend asked F. Murray Abraham what the "F" stood for, and Mr. Abraham said in his iciest voice:  "Famous."

I have no major plans today.  I need to clean off my desk, put away the How To Succeed . . . materials, and pull what I need to write the choral arrangement, which is this week's project.  I wanted to go to Staples and photocopy a pile of score paper for the London orchestration, but it's a wet day and I can do it tomorrow or Tuesday, depending on whether I'm needed at City Center.

I cannot comment on anything about HAIR....mine is on a shelf in the closet.

Perhaps I will wear it if I get a part in SEND ME NO FLOWERS.  I would like to play Mr. Akers the cemetery plot salesman....we shall see what happens at auditions in May.

Not sure if I can take the OSCARS....I sort of like them, but hearing all the acceptance speeches turned into political rants is a bit much for me....either way they go....

"Murray," as everybody calls him, played Al Capone in my film, DILLINGER AND CAPONE.

I always enjoy the Oscars, regardless of the length (and possibly width) of the ceremony.
