I often have a freakishly good memory, not of when I saw a film, but I usually remember where I saw most movies when I was a child. Of course, Tacoma never had nearly the number of theater's as there were in L.A.

But I used to have a spot on memory of events from my early childhood. It always amazed my mother and usually annoyed my sister.

There weren't a lot of choices for movie theatres and movie trips were fairly infrequent so probably can get it right.

There was the Johnny AllWeather Drive In , the Bay Shore Drive In and the Commack Drive In and the Westbury Drive In

All gone.

Then there was the Lindenhurst Theatre and the Bay Shore Theatre, both were originally built as Vaudville theatres and they were beautiful, but they were both torn down years ago

There was the Regent in Bay Shore as well , where my best friend worked as the ticket girlduring high school. Then management decided to turn it into a XXX theatre

It closed and now turned into an event space for concerts and lectures

Deer Park Movie Theatre and North Babylon Movie theatre were both replaced by stores.

I didn't hear the alarm at 6:30 and when I woke it was 7:05, I fed the cats, reset the alarm for 8:15 and went back to bed. At 8:15 I heard the alarm. Go figure.
