The aforementioned chocolates contain no sugar (artificial or real). They're sweetened with monk fruit extract, a natural sweetener that doesn't affect blood sugar the way real sugar does. And even then, they're not really that sweet...certainly not as sweet as Hershey's or Nestlé's chocolate.

I used to buy Carve cookies, which are low sugar, but I don't see them in the stores anymore. Their double chocolate cookie was out of this world.

I'm trying to get off sugar--again. I find that once I cut back, even for just a few days, I have less desire for sweets. When I want something sweet sometimes I'll have a couple ounces of lemonade, an old favorite. Sugar, yes, but less sweet than other options and it will satisfy me.

I wish that worked for me. Thing is, I have never felt better going off of sugar. In fact I usually have less energy which should be the opposite. What I am doing right now is not inhaling it and eating smaller portions.

Not much on the internet about them. Their facebook page shows a photo of the cookies as recently as January, nothing after that. They are located in the Marina and might just be a local product. Their phone number is

So, I'm home and watching the beginning of the Suspira remake that Luca Guadagnino made last year. It's 2.5 hours long and in a combination of Germany, Italian and English so far.

I would probably fund the recording of a few Cole Porter scores I want, starting with Elmore's work on Jubilee. Next is Let's Face It, then maybe Red, Hot and Blue! or Panama Hattie.

Go on a few trips. Do some charity work.

I need that kind of discipline. It helps if you can control the amount you purchase.
