A Star Is Born came into the library today. I'm really enjoying it so far. Best picture? .Hardly. But good old-fashioned entertainment it is.

Two of the books I'm reading are horrible. One is "The Woman in the Window." What was all the fuss about?

The other is "Rob Roy." It's the first Sir Walter Scott book I've read and may well be the last. I'm halfway in and next to nothing has happened, but some ugly anti-Catholic nonsense and thick Scottish brogue, which doesn't work in print very well.

Back from a grueling dress rehearsal. But I now have to say that I am loving playing this show (A Chorus Line).

Tomorrow will be hell, with an afternoon Shrek rehearsal followed by the final ACL dress rehearsal. Not to mention, it's an hour's drive to the first, nearly an hour and a half from there to the second, and almost an hour's drive home close to midnight.

I made some pasta with red sauce for my snack - about four ounces, I think, maybe five. It was good. Hadn't had any food since 8:30 in the morning.

The last time I went to the Magic Castle I was dating a magician which means you become part of his act whether you want to or not. I'm sitting there and he starts pulling scarves, balls, coins, etc. out of my hair, cleavage, even my shoes. I learned real quick to wear turtlenecks, blouses buttoned up to the top.
