I really liked it, but I didn’t love it.
Have been thinking about what will be my next book. I've known what it was going to be for a year, and I know I'll be at least organizing stuff some of this year, if not doing any actual writing, but then again I just may do some actual writing if the fancy strikes me. But there are big decisions to be made with this one - one decision concerns the size - I think I want this to be a bigger book, size-wise - 8 1/2 by 11. They can do that and it would be full color on the inside, which would be fun, actually, for reasons that will become clear when you know what it is. But if the page count is what I suspect it will be, the retail price will be too expensive. So, we're also looking at off-set printing, rather than print on demand - that would buy me much classier paper (glossy) and reproduction, but then it's not print on demand at all - it's committing to 1500 books, the minimum order - that, of course, is folly. It's not quite as much folly if it's printed in China, which is where most of these kinds of books are printed. I'm getting more info, though, as it's fascinating.
The last time I went to the Magic Castle I was dating a magician which means you become part of his act whether you want to or not. I'm sitting there and he starts pulling scarves, balls, coins, etc. out of my hair, cleavage, even my shoes. I learned real quick to wear turtlenecks, blouses buttoned up to the top.
Wow, the same house since 1972. I think that is nice. Where in L.A. are you?
....One of us needs to change our name. I see your name in the posts and think it's for me.
I am seeing the condo tomorrow that just may be the one!
