I suspect she e is talking to a rep vs a patient. If only my hearing was better. I used to have exceptionally good hearing.

I couldn't figure out how to turn on the TV (not that there are any English language channels other than BBC World and CNN International).  I called the front desk.  I was asked: "Did you push the red button at the top of the remote?"    "Yes."   "Push the number 1 instead."    Oh, okay!  That worked!   Who would have known?

We ran into a quagmire in the new orchestra parts for How To Succeed . . . yesterday afternoon.  My colleague works fast, and by 7:00 the corrections  in Reeds 2 and 4 were made.  I'm finding small fixes as I go over the parts, so that's good.

I believe I went to high school with Quag Meyer.  He was a bit of a mess.

I wonder what DR Ginny will have to say about TCB'S Ohio comment, but then he did iinclude the beautiful state of Utah so it was obviously a joke..

Now, I shouldn't be held accountable for that comment.  I was only agreeing with jan (that woman is a troublemaker).

And the Master of the Litter knows whereof he speaks.

Try having 4 cats ;)

My sister and her daughter have four cats.  I can't imagine!

My favorite egg sandwich is what I call the Alice, after the 1st floor neighbor who gave me the recipe: 2 slices of good grain bread, 2 eggs made into an omelet, ranch dressing, and lots of alfalfa sprouts.

Other than the alfalfa sprouts ( :P ), that sounds good.

When we lived in Michigan I often went to Ohio.  Toledo has the Museum of Art and other places of interest.  There is Cedar Point. In Cleveland the Music Hall of Fame.  And best of all os DR Ginny.

LOL!  When I was finishing grad school in Michigan and looking for a job, I said I'd go "anywhere but Ohio."  But there were lots of opportunities here and I gladly joined Miami University for what turned out to be a perfect first job.  My intention was to build my resume and stay 3-5 years, but my first job turned into an opportunity for promotion and, then, there was this guy...

So, almost 46 years later here I am!

Well, as "they" say:  Life is What Happens To You While You’re Busy Making Other Plans (and variations of that quote).

Hmm. I wonder if a book of half-assed recipes like that one would sell.

Years ago, I thought of writing a book of Recipes For Your Pet Rock.  However, after gravel, I was at a loss.

You had my attention, until you added the alfalfa sprouts.  If I wanted that, I would graze in the back forty.

It the omelet part I might not like, unless it had some avacado added.

The office has switched to new software and it is throwing ghe doctor for a loop and slowing her down, plus she mentioned an emergency this morning.
