Elmore’s suggestion is the best in terms of both writing and research. It still has a few errors, though I can’t remember what they are now.

My favorite mistake was, I think, in the Gottfried. In a Sweet Charity caption, the tall, regal, black actress Thelma Oliver is misidentified as Thelma Ritter, who was none of those things.

In the Razzle Dazzle one the movie Kiss Me Kate is said at one point to have been released in 1959 and Carroll Baker's name is misspelled as Caroll Baker....

And Irene Ryan is not mentioned by name in either book in the Pippin stories.

Two more colorized I Love Lucy episodes are on CBS tomorrow night....including "Bonus Buck" which is the first episode I remember watching with my mom and dad when it originally aired.....

I've never seen his TV series -- The Ray Milland Show in the mid-50s, and Markham a few years later.

Anthony Quinn is someone I need to see more of:

REQUIEM FOR A HEAVYWEIGHT
HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME gets an honorable mention even though I haven't seen it since I was a kid.
Also, the series JESUS OF NAZARETH, but I haven't seen that in a hundred years either.

There was this Facebook post about a dog that was kicked to death by some piece of Louisiana white trash. The man was beating his girlfriend and the dog tried to protect her. There were several photos, and here's the fearless abuser and killer.

Shortly after, Facebook banned me for 30 days. I received this pop-up:

So, I went to the Help Center and I read:

And there was a space to reply. I wrote:
What word bothered you? I posted in rage about a man who beat a dog to death. Take down the post and reprimand me, but these 30-day blocks are ridiculous.

Only it's Catch-22! They won't let me send it since I'm blocked.

Then I get this pop-up: Thanks for taking the time to submit a report. Learn more about what happens when you’re blocked or if your content was removed.

I keep telling y'all - Facebook is hopeless for anything other than promotion or perhaps staying in touch with a few folks. Ron Pulliam actually posted about Larry saying Larry should post on Twitter (I hate Twitter more than I hate Facebook) so he can read his posts. I suggested that ol' Ron come back here, where he used to be a regular visitor, if he wants to read elmore's posts. That's what I do.

And I can’t help but think - even on the evil Facebook - that that reply box is supposed to actually work. They’re inviting your response and providing a submit button, so WTF? I wonder if googling that would bring up anything useful.
