Fun night of dancing. The time was up before I realized it. There are nights when it goes on and on and on.

Watching Ronald Colman in Raffles, the story of a charming thief. It's enjoyable, but I have never been a great Colman fan. I'm looking forward to the remake, on the same disc with David Niven.

I've always loved the Raffles stories. I read them, plus watched the adaptations with Anthony Valentine, who was wonderful.

TOD:

Mother
Singin' in the Rain
The Pleasure of His Company
Athena
Give a Girl a Break.

I forgot she was in Mother.  Yes she was very good in it.  For me though it is Albert Brooks at his best.

The sherbet scene in that is perfection.

I only remember the David Niven version.

This reminds me of the Debbie Reynolds, Eddie Fisher fim BUNDLE OF JOY, a humorless remake of one of my favorite films, BACHELOR MOTHER.  Fortunately I saw the Ginger Rogers, David Niven movie first.

Then Margo and I will get something to eat before we go see GOD IS A SCOTTISH DRAG QUEEN 2: THE SECOND COMING.  We may go out for a late snack afterward.  We'll see.

Until later!

Well, I'm home.

We didn't go out after the show.  I did a little shopping, though.

The show was essentially a stand-up comedy routine as told by God as a Scottish drag queen.

And he did say that you didn't need to have seen the first part to understand this one.

They're each independent, just similar kinds of shows.

He said that there's also a part three that he'll bring back next year, and even a Christmas edition!

Well, I must be off.  First, I need to shower and shave (in that order), then get dressed, then go help my niece inject one of her cats with fluids becausd the cat has kidney problems and this really helps.

Does her cat handle it well?  They seem to know it helps.

For Bogie we set up a station over the washing machine & put a hook in the cabinet to hang the bag from.

If she (the cat) knows that it's going to happen, she'll try to hide.  Otherwise, she didn't struggle once it started.  My niece has a hook in the ceiling over the island in between their kitchen and living room to hang the bag of fluid.

Why is God a drag queen?

Actually, I don't think he said why.
