I still have on my DVR the PBS broadcast of the show with Kevin Kline from two and a half years ago.

Poor Nicky was left alone for most of the day and evening. I had to spend the day sitting around the condo waiting for my sofa and bed to be delivered. He was not happy, but neither was I.

I didn’t care for Kevin Kline’s performance. I understand Frank Langella was fantastic, when he played the role.

Yikes! Did they give you a window of time that they would be there...or was it just the whole day?

First on the right coast, and early for a Saturday.

But I woke up at (ugh) 5:30 in the a.m. and couldn't get back to sleep, AND I've got a very full day ahead. So here I am, however briefly.

Last night for an hour I attended the li'l Elton John event my friend was playing. It was fun, but hanging around noisy bar and music events is SO not my thing.

Then I saw an opening of Cuckoo's Nest, which I hadn't seen in any form for at least fifteen years. It's very good, but there were a few loose technical nuts and bolts and it will improve. I might go along with friends in a few weeks to see it again. We'll see about that.
