I have gathered several tons of paperwork emblazoned  with my name and address, blood and stool samples, dental records, and affidavits from 27 of my nearest and dearest swearing I am who I say I am and I hardly ever drive like a crazy person

JohnG, hoping for Monday or Tuesday.  Have to make a little video first.  I've got everything in motion and that's all we'll be waiting on.

Spent the last ninety minutes writing all the Indiegogo verbiage - the "Story" section is probably too long, but I think it's important for folks to know the history and why we want so badly to get this out into the world.

Certainly better than any of the other neighborhood pizza jernts I've tried.

My voice is trashed, thanks to the very dry air and allergies - two others in our cast are having the same issues.  So, I've got tomorrow and Saturday to keep quiet and rest it.

Having to turn the air on in the house it bad, too.  My voice hates air conditioning.

As for groceries, in the Northwest, all of our major grocery chains (Safeway, Albertsons, Fred Meyer, etc.) offer grocery delivery.  And if we have it in Washington state, I am sure you have it in L.A.  The prices are the same as in the store, and usually the first delivery is free.

I checked into Von's delivery once. It was $13 for delivery. I find that rather steep. Is that what you must pay in Washington, TCB?

I looked up our local Fred Meyer and it says "A $5.95 delivery fee and a $6.00 service charge will be applied to your order at the time it’s placed.".

A delivery fee AND a service charge?? :o

That can add up for people who really need the service. :-\

For a fee comparison:

"Curbside pick-up is available at many Fred Meyer stores throughout Oregon and Washington for a fee of $4.95".

That's certainly a better deal.

So, early this afternoon I plugged my 2 year old iPhone into my newish computer in order to get some music from my iTunes library to listen to via Bluetooth in my brand new car.  I inadvertently “updated” my phone to 2012.  It was a mess, but 6 hours and a trip to the Apple Store later it’s as back to normal as it’s going to get.  And Richard and I managed to sync my phone with my car without having to visit the dealership.  Oh, and I did manage to transfer the music...

Whew!  It's always an inconvenience when something automatically updates when you really don't want it to. :P

First of all, it depends on how much you order.  The more you buy, the less the delivery fee.

Gearing up for the small Indiegogo campaign we have to do for the Creature DVD - just want to do it right - the money goes to all the authoring and getting it to look as good as it possibly can.  These things are never cheap, and I have to, of course, pay for the art, pressing, and printing.  So, it's the production side that I need to raise the dough for.

Very exciting, BK!

Also, they often offer reduced fees or quite often, no fee, at all.  I mean, I certainly wouldn’t order a pack of Luckies and a bottle of Muscatel and expect it to be free.

I tend to order a lot of things that are hard for me to carry home by myself.  I order like six to eight giant bottles of cranberry juice, three or four 12 packs of diet Sierra Mist, a 24 package of toilet paper, a six or twelve pack of paper towels, etc., etc., etc.

Except pick-up wouldn’t do Bruce any good if he doesn’t have a car.

I'm recording that because I'm watching Stephen Colbert.

George, have you seen the Look Larson Auto dealer commercials with Rob Larson Jr.?  He is a hottie!  Short, but very hot!
