Gladys Knight was excellent. We were told she would perform 70 to 90 minutes. She actually performed for 1:45 and was center stage for all of it. Speaking of pies, I've had some vegetable pot pies and vegetable pastry that were very tasty. I don't come across them very often. I do wish they were more common.

Larry, thanks for the information about the Miss Fisher movies. The last time I'd checked on it no release date was given. Also no details, including the cast. I'm glad to see that Nathan Page and Bert and Cec are still there. I'll miss Mr Butler, though.

I'm watching DOWNTON ABBEY, the second time through. It holds up very well. I'm looking forward to the movie. Amazon lists the movie as a bestseller, even though it hasn't released yet.

Well, it's time for me to leave and head downtown to volunteer for a concert with two guitar trios. I'm sure that it'll be very good. I don't know how much I'll miss...hopefully, not too much. I'm working barback with one of the actual bartenders who serves mixed drinks, so that's different than what I usually do in concessions. But that can be fun itself.

Bryan cooked the best veggetable, even better than my favorite chicken, pot pies I ever had. I got the recipe but didn't feel like putting in the work required to make them.

It was a fun evening though. A mariachi band and a mambo troupe performed before a showing of Coco. I left halfway through the movie, because I could and because I was just too cold.

Starting to watch Spike Lee's He Got Game. I really enjoyed this when it came out.

I've got a dozen or so movies in at the library to keep me busy for the rest of the time.
