Jeanne, yes, I'm writing music for the songs, and giving lots of notes and suggestions on the lyrics.  So far I'm happy with what's been done.

Had a very nice dinner meeting at the Thai jernt that was Nick Redman's favorite.  Had chicken with cashews, the little Thai salad, and we split some Pad Thai - all very good.

There is a Stan's Donuts in Chicago if you want to try their apple fritter.

I tried their lemon pistachio old-fashioned (a baked donut).  Delicious. I hear the blueberry fritter is also heavenly.

The blueberry is delicious and just as good, however, since I rarely get one I prefer the traditional apple.

Full day today. Went to the Museum of Contemporary Art, had Chicago pizza for lunch, took an architecture cruise in tge cold and toured the American Writers Museum. Then had dinner at Shaw’s Crab Shack. Now in a brew pub.

Great tour.  Last time I took it the temps were way too hot and the guide was boring. 

Our guide was excellent and refused to talk down to people. He explained contextualism, postmodernism, modernism, deco and even echo deco.

That's good.  I think I should have said annoying more than boring.  Maybe it was the heat.  We felt she should have told us where the buildings were before talking about them and before we passed them.

I never realized the youngest of them is the exact age as the Vixter and in fact was in her graduating class and knew her all through school, although they ran in different circles
